Uveitis

This is a swelling of the uvea that can also provoke an inflammation of the retina. This can make the vision cloudy and in some occasions cause swelling in the optical nerve and the macula. Treatment may involve dark glasses or special eye drops.  However, relapses are common, so it is important to stay in contact with your ophthalmologist.
