Nystagmus

These are rhythmical or involuntary movements of the eyes. The oscillation can be horizontal, vertical, spiral, or a combination. The most common type consists of rhythmic movements typically in one direction. The most common causes of this illness are lesions in the vestibular system both peripheral and central. It also can be caused by other neurological lesions.
