Lasik

The advantages of Lasik are: 

• Ambulatory surgery (the patient goes back home minutes after the end of surgery)
• The procedure lasts only approximately 20 minutes.
• Vision is restored quickly generally within one day.
• Normal activities may be resumed within 24 hours
• The procedure is not painful, however, in some cases; minor discomfort may be felt during or after surgery.

The ideal candidate will be:

• 18 years or older
• Have healthy corneas with topography (form) and thickness rated as normal
• Not having significant changes in eye prescriptions in the last twelve months
• Not pregnant
