Dr. Pedro García Villarreal

Knowing that most people want to live their life to the fullest, Dr. Garcia Villarreal is always on the lookout for new alternatives and innovative methods to serve you better.  This is a habit that he has maintained since he was very small, and it now is there to benefit you.

With his analytical and curious mind, whenever he was around his father’s (Dr. Garcia Montemayor) ophthalmic practice Dr. Garcia Villarreal was consistently thinking and formulating new ways to improve the family business.  He invested many years of his life studying at the University of Nuevo Leon, and then finished his specialty in ophthalmology at the Tecnológico de Monterrey.  After that, he finished specialty studies in cornea, Refractive surgery, and retina in the University of Texas in Houston.  Later, he began his practice in many city hospitals.  After awhile he was invited by several physicians of different specialties to become part of the Monterrey diagnosis center.  Within two years of joining the group, he became president, and meanwhile he continued to treat patients with ophthalmic problems.

A pioneer in Lasik surgery and the correction of Myopia, Hypermetropia, and Astigmatism, Dr. Garcia Villarreal has more than 15 years experience and thousands of successful operations.  He continuously attends national and international conferences in order to improve his techniques in laser surgery, cataracts, and cornea transplants.  He is in constant communication with his teachers and colleagues in the United States. 

The enthusiasm to acquire and share learning experiences has caused Dr. Garcia Villarreal to become a guest lecturer at many institutions about the care and importance of the eyes.  He is also part of important national and international associations such as The Mexican Society of Ophthalmology, The Ophthalmology School of Nuevo Leon, The American Society of Cataracts and Refractive Surgery, and The American Ophthalmologist Society.

During his professional life the Doctor has accomplished, not only the recognition of his colleagues for his detailed work in visual health, but also by those who see an improvement in their quality of life because of his visual health knowledge.  Using the above philosophy, Dr. Garcia Villarreal created the clinic known as Khroma that offers great facilities and easy access.

Besides his medical profession, Dr. Garcia Villarreal loves nature, exercise, sports like tennis, and loves to be in the company of wife and three children.  One of his main objectives in life is to be able to create knowledge in society about the importance of vision so they can offer their eyes the importance they deserve. 

Dr. Pedro Garcia Montemayor

With a strong passion to learn, but mainly because of helpful nature, Dr. Garcia Montemayor was a young man with a conviction to dedicate his life to medicine and to improve the life of every person within his reach.  This philosophy brought him to the University of Nuevo Leon and soon after To the University of Texas in San Antonio to finish his ophthalmologist residence.

After returning to Monterrey, he began spreading his knowledge to many universities in order to offer the community the latest technology in surgeries and the treatment of ophthalmic illnesses.  During the following years, while working as an ophthalmologist, Dr. Garcia Montemayor was invited by other physicians to form the first diagnosis and specialty center in Monterrey. 

Dr. Garcia Montemayor has more then 40 years of experience and continues to employ the latest technology to keep providing the community with the most advanced techniques in ophthalmology treatment.  For the last 12 years he has worked side by side with his son, Dr. Garcia Villarreal. 

Today he has the respect from all the patients he has treated over the last 40 years.  However, he also enjoys the respect of his teammates who see him as an example of a man of outstanding word, principals, and citizenship.  He is always looking how to improve his good health by caring for himself with a good diet and exercise.  He enjoys spending time with his sons, 9 grandsons and his lovely wife of 50 years. 

Dr. Claudia Quintanilla Martínez

Following her natural instincts to get results, she has been an excellent teammate to the other doctors in the practice.  This has made Khroma into an organization of the highest quality.  Nowadays, she is in charge of the coordination of administration and human resources in Khroma and the optic store.  Her greatest success has been to combine all the different team players and assimilate them into the Khroma culture.  This has helped in sure the highest quality and care for the patients. 

Motivated to combine quality of vision with aesthetics, Dr. Quintanilla has made Khroma optics the perfect place where anyone can find a great pair of glasses and get the good advice that one would expect from Khroma.

Optometrist Paola Blas Valle

Our optometrist studied at the National School of Professional Education (CONALEP) and she has a specialty in contact lenses with more than ten years of experience in this area.  That is why she is in charge of contact lenses for all patients in Khroma.

Licensed Nurse Verónica A. Rodríguez Rosales

She studied at the nursing school in the University of Nuevo Leon. She is in charge of everything related to the surgical and nursing area.  She always gives the best personalized attention before, during, and after a procedure. 

Teresa Villarreal Martínez

She studied in the English Commercial School and is in charge with the administration of the Khroma group. She has more than 15 years of experience.

Irene G. Pérez Peña

She is responsible for Khroma optics and has more than 17 years of experience in the field.  Miss Perez Pena is also continuously attending courses about the latest optical materials and frames.  This helps here consistently stay abreast of the latest trends. 

Daniela Torres Reyes

She studied in the Fleming Institute and is responsible for the general archives at Khroma where she keeps each file with care.
