Corneal Guttata

This alteration appears as microscopic bumps on the cornea that produce the profound alteration of the corneal endothelium. This alteration can greatly affect the transparency of the cornea and can diminish visual accuracy. 

In the most severe cases a corneal transplant is necessary to restore vision. However, nowadays, there is a new surgery that consists of the transplant of the endothelium cells.
